Basketball Recap: Harmony Grove Takes a Loss

Harmony Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-11 loss at the hands of the Centerpoint Knights. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Knights are ranked 32nd).

Harmony Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Centerpoint, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harmony Grove will square off against Prescott at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centerpoint, they will take on Fouke at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Fouke has won four straight at home, while Centerpoint won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
