Softball Preview: Asotin Panthers vs. Liberty Lancers
Asotin is 1-9 against Liberty since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Asotin will head out to take on Liberty at 2:00 p.m. Asotin has given up an average of 15.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Asotin is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 11-2 to Freeman.
Isabella Dougan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Georgia Schaefer, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Meanwhile, while Liberty put up some runs last Saturday, the same can't be said for Northwest Christian School. Liberty had just enough and edged out Northwest Christian School 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.
