Softball Game Preview: Logan County Cougars vs. Jo Byrns Red Devils

The Logan County Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Jo Byrns Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Logan County challenged Russellville on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7. Cougars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Jo Byrns fell victim to Springfield and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Red Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Logan County's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Jo Byrns, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
