Basketball Recap: Williamsburg Triumphs

Williamsburg lost to Tussey Mountain back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Williamsburg Blue Pirates secured a 55-50 W over the Tussey Mountain Titans. That's two games straight that the Blue Pirates have won by exactly five points.

Williamsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Tussey Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williamsburg will be taking part in a tournament against West Shamokin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tussey Mountain, they will take on North Star in a tournament on Friday.
