Grove City Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Millersport Lakers with a sharp 16-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 on Thursday.

Cade Wachenschwanz was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Wachenschwanz was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jeff Collins was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged three or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Keating, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Grove City Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Grove City Christian pushed their record up to 10-7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Millersport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
