Baseball Recap: Wando Takes a Loss

Wando lost against Stratford last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Wando lost 11-1 to Stratford. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wando saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Whitmer, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Caleb Anderson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Wando and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Stratford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2-2.

While Wando had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
