Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against Gresham back in June of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Liberty Falcons took a blow against the Gresham Gophers, falling 67-40. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Liberty dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Gresham, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

Liberty is taking a road trip to face off against Beaverton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty is facing Beaverton at the right time seeing as Beaverton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Gresham, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Southridge at 6:00 p.m. Southridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Gresham likes a good challenge.
