The Parkdale Panthers can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Central 63-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Parkdale has posted yet this season.
Parkdale can attribute much of their success to Jacob Wilson, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mark Freeland, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Parkdale's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Central, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-8-1.
