Volleyball Recap: Dover's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Dover rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They skirted past the Lamar Warriors 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won three contests in a row.

In the three sets Dover was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-0.

Early Jackson went supernova, getting 40 digs and seven assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Breanna Hampton, who had 14 assists and seven digs.

Dover's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Lamar, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

As of now, neither Dover nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
