Meanwhile, Griffin School was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 58-53 to Idea Pflugerville. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin Waldorf's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7. As for Griffin School, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
