Football Recap: Woonsocket Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Woonsocket had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Moses Brown Quakers with a sharp 35-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Villa Novans, who have now won three games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Woonsocket didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Raymond Williams and Braylon Guilbeault. Williams also made four total tackles, which is notable because Woonsocket is 3-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 2-3 otherwise. Guilbeault got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Woonsocket now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Moses Brown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Woonsocket has already played their next contest, a 35-13 defeat against West Warwick on the 7th. Moses Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
