Volleyball Recap: Sitka Comes Up Short

Sitka lost against Soldotna on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars.

Sitka's loss dropped their record down to 18-17-9. As for Soldotna, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Sitka and Mt. Edgecumbe will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Braves have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Soldotna, they will face off against Homer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
