Basketball Recap: Lewiston Takes a Loss

Lewiston was the 54-46 winner over Edward Little when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lewiston Blue Devils were beaten by the Edward Little Red Eddies 75-16 on Monday. The Blue Devils' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Edward Little, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewiston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bonny Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewiston is facing Bonny Eagle at the right time seeing as Bonny Eagle is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Edward Little, they will take on Westbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
