Football Preview: Superior Wildcats vs. Fillmore Central Panthers

Superior has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will take on the Fillmore Central Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Superior focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up four on Friday.

Superior's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Grand Island Central Catholic on Friday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Crusaders. The Wildcats have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Fillmore Central scored first but ultimately less than Wilber-Clatonia in their match on Friday. They fell to the Wolverines 33-28.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Preston Komenda, who threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns. Daniel Stoner helped Komenda out on the ground, picking up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 44 yards.
