Baseball Recap: Somerset Academy South Homestead Takes a Loss

Somerset Academy South Homestead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-5 to the Miami Country Day Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on Monday.

Somerset Academy South Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Miami Country Day, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerset Academy South Homestead will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Miami at 5:00 p.m. on April 3rd. As for Miami Country Day, they will welcome Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
