Basketball Recap: Hubbard Eagles vs. McKinley Red Dragons
Hubbard lost against McKinley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hubbard Eagles fell 69-60 to the McKinley Red Dragons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hubbard's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braydon Songer, who went 9 of 21 on his way to 28 points and six rebounds. Those 28 points gave Songer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenyen Franklin, who posted 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McKinley to victory, but perhaps none more so than True Carey-Hardin, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Avon Fryer, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards.
Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for McKinley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

As for McKinley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poland Seminary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
