Volleyball Recap: Florala Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Florala was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Laurel Hill Hoboes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hoboes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Florala took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-17.

Florala's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Laurel Hill, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Florala and Pleasant Home will shake off the rust and duke it out at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laurel Hill, they will venture away from home to face off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
