For the second straight game, Rancho Verde will face off against Vista del Lago. Rancho Verde will be playing at home against Vista del Lago at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Rancho Verde is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Rancho Verde proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by seven) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Vista del Lago 7-5. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Ethan Montolfo made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Montolfo was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Rancho Verde let Julian Dominguez and Abraham Manzo run wild. Dominguez scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Manzo scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. What's more, Dominguez posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Coppola, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Rancho Verde's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Vista del Lago, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.
