Recap: Jupiter Warriors vs. Boca Raton Bobcats
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the Jupiter Warriors couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 48-41 to Boca Raton on Friday. Jupiter's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Jupiter still got an impressive performance from Luke Douglas, who rushed for 37 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 338 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Furshman, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Boca Raton's defensive line made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Lavar Jamison and his two sacks.
Jupiter's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Boca Raton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Jupiter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boca Raton is on the road again on Friday and play against Palm Beach Central at 6:30 p.m. on November 17th.
