Basketball Recap: Josh Amoah Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Trinity Christian

Trinity Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Abundant Life Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trinity Christian Trailblazers, sneaking past 52-50. This was a revenge game for Abundant Life Academy: when they faced off against Trinity Christian back in January, they had to take a 76-37 defeat.

Abundant Life Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Amoah, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave Amoah a new career-high. Franklin Fabre was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Abundant Life Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Abundant Life Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

Abundant Life Academy has already played their next contest, a 33-29 defeat against American Christian School on the 22nd. As for Trinity Christian, they will welcome University Academy Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
