The Kalida Wildcats and the Wapakoneta Redskins will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Wapakoneta took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kalida, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Kalida managed a 54-49 win over Miller City. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kalida.

Meanwhile, Wapakoneta came up short against Elida on Friday and fell 47-37. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 138th).

Kalida's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Wapakoneta, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10.
