While Malden's win against Everett wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Tornados won by a run and slipped past the Crimson Tide 3-2. The Golden Tornados haven't had any issues with the Crimson Tide recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Malden's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Everett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
