Siegel is 9-1 against Riverdale since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Stars will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Siegel is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Siegel didn't have quite enough to beat Rockvale and fell 5-4.

Madisan Holshoe was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Mei-Li Karls also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Meanwhile, Riverdale came up short against Blackman on Tuesday, falling 18-3.

Montanna Arel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Payton Hurst, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Siegel's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Riverdale, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Siegel hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. However, it's not like Riverdale struggles in that department as they've averaged .376. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Siegel was able to grind out a solid victory over Riverdale in their previous matchup back in March, winning 9-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
