Republic is 8-2 against Central since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Republic Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Central Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Republic will be strutting in after a victory while Central will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Republic beat Lebanon 67-59. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 252nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central suffered their biggest defeat since November 21, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 74-43 loss at the hands of Millennium. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Republic's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Central, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Republic came out on top in a nail-biter against Central when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 65-63. Does Republic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
