The Governor Mifflin Mustangs will head out to face off against the Ephrata Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Governor Mifflin at home against Elizabethtown as the squad secured a 48-14 win. Considering the Mustangs have won five matchups by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ephrata). They blew past Lebanon 59-6 on the road on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Mountaineers just coasted through the last quarter.
Ephrata can attribute much of their success to Brayden Brown, who rushed for 77 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and Caleb Grant, who threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes.
