Softball Recap: Bullard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sanger on Monday, Bullard came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Madera Coyotes by a score of 6-5 on Friday. Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Coyotes since on Friday.

Payton Pasma was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Hannah Lakovich, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Bullard's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Madera, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Bullard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Edison on the 13th. As for Madera, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-4 defeat against Sanger on the 13th.
