Northampton County is a perfect 9-0 against Northwest Halifax since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Jaguars will look to defend their home field against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northampton County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 40 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Warren County on Friday. They were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 51-8. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-0.

Meanwhile, Northwest Halifax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 46-20 to Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy.

Northampton County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northwest Halifax, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Northampton County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Northwest Halifax in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 26-20 victory.
