            Basketball Recap: Seffner Christian Crusaders vs. Jesuit Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Seffner Christian lost against Jesuit back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Seffner Christian Crusaders had to suffer through a   71-43 loss at the hands of the Jesuit Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 407th, while the Tigers are ranked 124th).
 When it comes to explaining why Seffner Christian lost, don't look at  Arcadian Davis. Despite the final result, he  went 7 for 13  on his way to 18  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brayden Warren, who  posted six points.
 Jesuit's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Tyler Caouette, who  went 6 of 12  en route to 14  points and six  rebounds. Caouette is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games he's  played.  Carter Reins was another key player,  going 6 for 9  on his way to 15 points.
Seffner Christian dropped their record down to 9-12 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Jesuit, the  victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.
 Seffner Christian has  already played their next  match (against Berkeley Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jesuit will venture away from home to  face off against Tampa Catholic  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Tampa Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last 11 games.
