Softball Recap: Lely Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lely, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They skirted past the Mason Classical Academy Paladins 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since March 28, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Brooke Bledsoe, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Lely's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Mason Classical Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Lely will challenge Cape Coral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lely's pitchers better be ready for this one: Cape Coral has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Mason Classical Academy, they will take on Everglades City at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
