Princess Anne hasn't had much luck against Ocean Lakes recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will take on the Dolphins at 5:00 p.m. Princess Anne will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Princess Anne took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Landstown, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cavaliers had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cavaliers have posted since April 12th.

Walt Clevenger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Matthew Metheny, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Rutledge, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Ocean Lakes came out on top against Kellam on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Dolphins blew past the Knights 12-2. Considering the Dolphins have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Luke Ellison tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched.
At the plate, Connor Mais was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Donovan Nagle, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Princess Anne's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Ocean Lakes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Princess Anne couldn't quite finish off Ocean Lakes when the teams last played back in March and fell 3-1. Can the Cavaliers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
