Baseball Recap: Borah Comes Up Short

Borah was the 3-0 winner over Centennial when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell 9-4 to the Patriots on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Borah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Centennial, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Borah will face off against Eagle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Centennial, they will square off against Capital at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
