Preview: Riverside Pirates vs. Trout Lake Mustangs
The Riverside Pirates and the Trout Lake Mustangs will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Riverside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
Last Friday, Riverside made easy work of Touchet and carried off a 56-31 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.
Riverside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deisy Zavala, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Crystal Sanchez, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Trout Lake strolled past Joseph with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 40-24.
Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Trout Lake, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
