Make it six blowout wins for the Mapleton Sailors this season. They blew past McKenzie, posting a 65-22 win on the road. The victory was nothing new for Mapleton as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Mapleton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for McKenzie, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with that defeat, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.
Mapleton will take on Alsea at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McKenzie, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Crow/City First Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th. Crow/City First Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
