After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside, High Plains was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Nebraska Lutheran Knights 69-6. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

High Plains didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Aaron Brown, Chase Owens, and Colin Howell picked up one apiece. Owens got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got High Plains back to even at 2-2. As for Nebraska Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

High Plains has already played their next matchup, a 46-8 loss against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on the 26th. As for Nebraska Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-68 defeat against Giltner on the 26th.
