Basketball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Gets the Win

Wonewoc-Center hadn't done well against Necedah recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wonewoc-Center Wolves managed a 41-37 win over the Necedah Cardinals. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 38-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Wonewoc-Center's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Necedah, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Wonewoc-Center has already played their next matchup (against Pittsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Necedah has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Bangor.
