Strafford waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Diamond Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Strafford's got stronger as the match went on, holding Diamond to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Brooklynne Lumley, who had three digs and three aces. What's more, she posted four assists, the most she's had over her last 13 matches.

Lumley wasn't the only good servers: Strafford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matchups.

Strafford's victory bumped their record up to 20-2-2. As for Diamond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.

Strafford has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Hollister on the 7th. As for Diamond, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Miller on the 7th.
