Deshawn Ford leads a balanced attack to beat South Walton

Recap: Destin Sharks vs. South Walton Seahawks
The Destin Sharks entered their tilt with the South Walton Seahawks with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Destin snuck past South Walton with a 40-36 win on Friday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Destin has scored all season.
Destin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deshawn Ford, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Traiton Mauffray, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Destin's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for South Walton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Destin will challenge Rocky Bayou Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Walton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th.
