Football Recap: Swink Falls to Fowler in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Swink unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Fowler Grizzlies. The Lions lost against the Grizzlies in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 33-22 score last time.

Fowler got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brock True out in front who rushed for 148 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. Bronson Damgaard was in the mix as well, providing the Grizzlies with two TDs.

Swink wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 56-7 loss against Sanford on the 5th. As for Fowler, they have also already played their next game, a 12-8 defeat against Simla on the 5th.
