Softball Recap: Doherty Memorial Highlanders vs. Grafton Gators
Doherty Memorial won against Burncoat last Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Highlanders blew past the Grafton Gators 11-1. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.
Riley Cormier looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
