Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

After flying high against Spring Valley on Thursday, Centennial came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Faith Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Centennial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Terrell Otis, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Centennial has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season. As for Faith Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 17-13 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Centennial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
