Football Recap: Midway/Minto Takes a Loss

Midway/Minto lost against North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs were dealt a 50-8 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Midway/Minto's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette], the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Midway/Minto will be playing at home against Larimore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will be up against the Polar Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.86 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette], they will face off against St. John on Friday.
