Volleyball Recap: Somerset Has No Trouble Against Mountain Ridge + How To Watch

The Somerset Eagles got the win against the Mountain Ridge Miners on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Somerset not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mountain Ridge between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Reagan Holmes paced Somerset's offense, picking up 13 kills. Holmes got some help from Elly Fletcher and her 31 assists. Fletcher also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ella Thompson, each putting up three.

Somerset's victory bumped their record up to 19-4-1. As for Mountain Ridge, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerset will host Bald Eagle Area at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will challenge Southern at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
