Marietta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They snuck past Sequoyah with a 19-14 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Blue Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Chiefs are ranked 86th).

Meanwhile, Lambert entered their tilt with Hiram on Thursday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 27-0 victory over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won ten games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Lambert's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Marietta, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 18-2.
