O'Neill has gone 8-2 against Ord recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The O'Neill Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Ord Chanticleers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, O'Neill lost to Plainview at home by a 59-45 margin.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Braxen Eichelberger, who posted nine points. Ryder Kelly was another key player, putting up five points.

Even though they lost, O'Neill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Ord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-60 heartbreaker at the hands of Broken Bow.

O'Neill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Ord, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

O'Neill was able to grind out a solid victory over Ord in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 63-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for O'Neill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
