Volleyball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Schurr Spartans. The Moors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-5.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Schurr, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alhambra is set to square off against their familiar foe Montebello at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Schurr will take on rival Bell Gardens at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
