Hall came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Somonauk Bobcats. That's two games straight that the Red Devils have won by exactly four runs.

Hall's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Somonauk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Hall will head out on the road to challenge Kewanee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somonauk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Norsemen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.71 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
