Bendle and Atherton are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Atherton will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Bendle extended their winning streak to six on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Flint Southwestern Academy.

Meanwhile, Atherton got the win against Beecher on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won six in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Atherton took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-1.

Bendle's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Atherton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Bendle came out on top in a nail-biter against Atherton when the teams last played on October 7th, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
