McMahon had already won three in a row, and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Senators this season.

McMahon can attribute much of their success to Amaya Acevedo, who had six digs and three aces. Acevedo is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last 24 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Turnbull, who had six aces.

She wasn't the only good server: McMahon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2023.

McMahon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McMahon is on the road again on Tuesday to play Stamford at 4:00 p.m. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, they will venture away from home to face off against New Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
