Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. McEwen Warriors

The Trinity Christian Academy Lions just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the McEwen Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.

On Friday, Trinity Christian Academy earned a 53-44 victory over Jackson County. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Trinity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Annelise Friend led the charge by going 6-for-10 on her way to 21 points and six rebounds. Those 21 points gave Friend a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Robinson, who posted 14 points and four steals.

McEwen had taken Stewart County down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The contest between the Warriors and the Rebels didn't end well, with the Warriors falling 51-36.

Trinity Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for McEwen, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
