MacArthur and Benjamin Davis are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Generals will take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

MacArthur took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Dekaney with a sharp 12-5 victory. Considering the Generals have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Benjamin Davis came out on top against Westfield on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 9-8. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Jacob Alfaro, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Benjamin Davis is undefeated when Alfaro posts two or more runs, but 6-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Adan Ramirez, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

MacArthur has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Benjamin Davis, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

MacArthur suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to Benjamin Davis in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
